New Premises on Magdalene Street

After more than seven years on the corner of Northampton Street and Magdalene Street The Flower House have moved just ten doors down to number 23.

“We now have almost exactly twice as much space at number 23” says Jacqueline, Proprietor of the business, “the new shop offers more display space for all our plants, pots and flowers but also gives us the much needed workroom for all our weddings, event and contract work”.

With more space comes the opportunity to expand our offerings. More pots and
vases from dutch designers, (Pot en Mand), greeting cards and prints from
flower photographer Lucy Birnie (Forget-me-not-designs). We are also able to
advise and supply interior and exterior feature plants and topiaries along with extremely convincing artificial plants and flowers.

Getting the new shop up and running has been great fun, we have called
on a few friends to help us out along the way. Thanks goes to Cate Burren from
Angel and Blume Interior Design for helping us wade through the choices of lime wash paint for the walls, and Jane Sunderland, Interior Architect for her supply of additional shelving and display items.
